Take a look at PuppyBumpers.net! It's a darling stuffed collar that will keep our babies safe on Balconies... Finally, an answer!

If I shouldn't have told you all about Puppy Bumper, I'm sorry. I have a Maltese, a Malte-Pom and and Peke-Pom... all therapy dogs. We mostly do Pediatric Oncology patients. The Puppy Bumpers are my way of supporting my Therapy Dog efforts. They are also an important safety device for little dogs that I invented. No offense meant.

I'm excited to have found this forum since my little Daisy is the apple of my eye! She broke her back last summer (an iron gate fell on her) was paralyzed at first and had 5 surgeries between July and December. She's fine now - doing agility and Therapy work again, but we are cautious with her...which is why the Puppy Bumpers got invented when we found ourselves with a 5th floor condo. She's only 5.5 lbs and can zip right through the railing! What about you?

Hi~ welcome to MT
I used to live in upstairs apt and we have balcony and I would wrap the Garden and kennel wire around to protect them from falling off.

If I had a balcony I would certainly look for something to keep Alex safe. My daughter and son in law almost bought a house with a loft. I am glad it fell through. I was not feeling comfortable with that loft. She has 2 young kids, and I was especially afraid something would happen to the youngest one who will be 2 in December. He is climbing everywhere.
i think its awesome! We stay on the lowest floor for my safety and the babies :D

That is a great idea..we have a second story with open spindles and it was something we had to watch when Zoe was a pup (not as much now). With the arrival of my next pup, I may consider it.
