Teething...

Babe at approx. 8 mos. is still teething. He likes raw hide bones. Should I permit him to have one during the night? Most nights he sleeps thru the night. But last night he decided to chew on a cabinet door.

I was limiting his time w/ the bones when I could supervise him or allow during grooming.

I wouldn't give him Rawhide

-Rawhides aren't good ? many surgeries are done to remove pieces of rawhide that have lodged themselves in the intestines. Any bones that can splinter, split or break can tear your dog up inside or cut their mouths. Use large beef bones (raw), nylon, rubber or compressed raw hide bones.

I also heard that rawhide bones are bad for small puppies/dogs...
