I am feeding my Bella (5 months old now) the puppy Royal Canine, she likes it fine but likes it better when I put the BeechNut baby meat stick in it, I cut it up a little pieces for her, I buy the meat, chicken or turkey flavored, she LOVES thoses things. Has anyone tried those???? I am just curious.

What do you guys give her pups to chew on??? I have not noticed any of her baby teeth gone yet and don't know when her other teeth come in :confused: , can anyone tell me?? And, what about brushing their teeth, any suggestions on that??? :)

I have given my girls those meat sticks when they weren't feeling well and wouldn't eat. They do love them!

Her baby teeth will start coming out soon, seems like it's usually around 6 months.

Lots of people use bully sticks and they are great! But I can't get myself to give them to my girls because of what they are made of :p So I found the beef tendons chew sticks and those are great! After they have chewed on them for a while they get soft and stringy and floss the teeth wonderfully.

We have a Petsmart Store here, that is a biggest pet store here in Knoxville, Tn.

The teeth will start to fall out soon & you may not even notice this, more than likely she will swallow them with her food but they will pass!

You can get a little toothbrush & toothpaste for dogs & i would start this soon so that she gets used to you touching her mouth, you can even put a little on your finger & rub it into her teeth.

This is not my field of expertise........I found Toby's teeth all over the place. I do give my kids rawhide sticks that have been bleached! I know some don't like them but they work for me! Work for the kids! Bully for me!:D And I also give them the "greenies." Never have had a problem but I do always supervise.

I like to give my yorkie and my mom's malt Nylabones. They love them, the edible ones and the non-edible ones. I mostly give them the non-edible ones that they can just chew on and play with.
