How often should I groom?

How often do you have your puppies groomed? My pups are about 5 months old, and I've had their hair cut once already. I plan to keep them in a puppy cut even when they're older.

You should brush them daily and wash them every 7-10 days. I try to take mine to the groomers at least once a month.

I brush daily and do weekly baths.

If you are taking them to the groomer instead of doing it yourself, it depends on how often YOU think they need it. Just watch and see how long you like the way they look.. when they start looking a bit rough, it's time for a trim. :)

Most people say to comb/brush them daily. Some of us can't quite get to that point. :D

I also brush daily and give baths every 7-10 days... just depending on my schedule. :) Mine don't go to a groomer, I prefer to do it myself so maybe someone else can answer your question.

I do all my own grooming.........and I am a daily brush out, topknot and all and bath every 8-10 days! My yorkie and one maltese are easier than the two larger malts (due to hair texture). Also never brush dry and have good grooming tools!

I try to brush my dogs everyday and they get a bath every 7-14 days. I take them to a groomer whenever I feel they need a trim or cut. Diddy my Yorkie has a silky coat so he never mats. Posh is very cottony and has to be brushed every day. I also wash their faces, butts, and paws every evening.
