I think I have finally convinced my husband that we need another fluff. :D I live in NJ and was wondering if anybody could refer me to any reputable breeders in the NJ/PA/DE area. Nikki's breeder is no longer breeding so I am on the hunt again. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

I only know of a few breeders from some of the other members but they are not located in your area. I am counting on some of the other members to give you some help with this one..........I have three maltese but they are all "second hand dogs" or rescues as some refer to them........LOL.

I am sooooooooooo excited for you getting a new fluff.......it's just soooo thrilling to go on a search for a new baby!!! Keep us updated, P L E A S E

I wish you luck with your search but I don't know anyone in that area. Have you checked with AKC to see what breeders they have listed??

Are you willing to get one shipped? Are you looking for a boy or girl? Tajon has 2 very affordable little boy's and I love Tammy's pups.:hearter::hearter::hearter: http://tajonmaltese.com/puppies/puppies.html

It doesn't look like hair is covering it...otherwise you would see some hint of the eye and in all of the pics, especially the one facing you....there is no eye.

I would if I wasn't so broke right now....Emme ate up all my play money during the time she was sick....I could have bought that dog with the money it cost to treat her for 3 days!!! :lol2::lol2::lol2:

Thanks ladies for asking that question about his other eye! I was too embarassed to ask! :o I'm so glad that he does have another eye under all that fluff because I was starting to feel really sad for the little guy. They are both precious and they are very reasonably priced. How does everybody feel about having a fluff shipped? I always thought that wasn't good for the pup. Does anybody know if they have somebody that flies with the baby? There are so few Maltese breeders on the east coast. The few that are in my area are ridiculously priced!

I know of someone very trustworthy that will fly pick them up and meet you at the airport. They do charge $350 to do this but if you feel uncomfortable flying the pup alone this is the best bet. They do this all the time and the wife is a stewardess for Delta. I have always gone myself to pick them up but that isn't practical for everyone.

That's an awesome idea! How does that work? Do they fly with them in the cabin or do they still have to be in the cargo area?

No they carry them in the cabin. So in reality your paying about $100 more but they are flying in the cabin with a person escorting them. PM me if your interested and I'll give you the wifes info.
