Can anyone help me remember where it was posted about a different kind of step in harness that is called the "No Choke Harness" I believe? I can't seem to find it again.

I think I need to get something like that for Tinka cause she seems to have a problem pretty easily with all the other wonderful types of harnesses we have. :(

I thought there was someone on here or on YT that was selling them????

Thanks!

I can't remember who but it was on YT. I will get on there later and see if I can find it again. I looked at them when I first got Jasper and thought about getting one for him also.

It is a step in but where the regular step ins come up a little bit on the
chest/throat area, these don't at all. I'm going to work with Tinka a while longer to see if she will stop pulling and if she won't then I will invest in one of these.

She doesn't pull hard or a lot, but just enough to make herself cough/choke. :(

I'm wondering about the leg openings on them... they are a different shape so am curious as to whether they fit well and are comfy.

I have the same problem with Chip. He is constantly pulling and is always causing himself to wheeze. I even bought him the gentle leader easy walk and he still pulls like crazy. Seriously, he walks better off leash than he does on the leash, but in the highly populated area that I'm in, I wouldn't want him off leash.

Cindy's step in's go low on the chest and no where near the throat have you tried hers?

Yep, that's what I am using now. I think I have at least 5 of hers... not counting the ones that got chewed up.

I know they don't come up very high but Tinka is still having a bit of a problem.

How do you like it? Is there anything you don't like about it? In your opinion, is it worth the money?

Do you have any pics that we could see with him wearing it?:) Pretty please?

Here is only ONE thing I can think of that I would change about it. Mr Wookie's harness has the metal "paws" on each side and sometimes his hair gets caught on them. They are not "tacked" down completely at the toes part. That seems to be where I "find" hairs from time to time.

Other then that, I LOVE this harness. The leather is soft yet strong. The velcro is so secure and it's easy to get on him. I just lay it down and he steps into it, to "GO". :lol2: As I am velcroing it closed I pull his tag through with the D-Ring. Easy on, easy off.

Here ya go, two photos he just "let" me take... now you get to tell him, "no you are not going out now".... HAHAHAHAA!

Yes, well worth the price.

That looks like it would work really well!!! I like it.:D

There used to be a really cool dog boutique around here that sold them but it went OOB. :( What a bummer.

Well, why didn't you just take him out for a minute???? Poor little guy. :lol2:

I really like the looks of this harness also. It looks like it might help with the matting problem that comes with harnesses. Yes, where did you get yours?

When I was there, they only had the smallest size in this black harness. And in other sizes only a few other colors or designs. It wasn't until I got home and went on the chokefree web site I saw all they had. I can tell you, it's a great harness, very secure and the leather is so nice. As I said before, though, I would only change the metal paw, so that it was totally attached all the way around.
