Hello Everyone,

Ok so I need everyones help. I am trying to plan a trip for a group of people and well I want to go to a great place! This will be my first real vacation. The vacation I took in December doesn't count since I didn't go anywhere. So I don't really know where to start. I have been looking on expedia and a few other travel sites but there are soo many places that I want to go and of course most of them are places that other people do not wanna go. Anyway I would like all of your input as to what places you think are great to go and visit and cost, etc. I am trying to book the trip no later than the end of Feb. We are trying to go from May 7-May 12th. I need all of the input and help I can get. I think most people are working with a $1,000 budget plus pay additional money for food, shopping, excursions, and of course cocktails:) Thanks for your help and input. I hope you guys help me find a cool place to go. I was looking at Belize as my favorite but no one seems to want to go there:(

We went to Cancun a few years ago for Valentine's Day and it was so beaatiful, but that was before the hurricane and I don't know if it built back up yet. We stayed at an all-inclusive, so all alcohol and food was included in the price. My best suggestion would be a cruise. I think you could get it for less than $1,000 per person. We take one cruise a year - next one is booked in Nov. with our best friends. We always go Carnival. If you talk to the others, and they are interested, let me know and I will give you the name of number of our trip planner at Carnival - she is great and will work hard to get you the best deal possible.

Have you ever been there? It's amazing, I mean you swim in this enclosure and it seems as though you are swimming with sharks, It's outrageous..

Well it seems as though I am the only one that really wanted to travel abroad. So I am going to save my trip to Belize for next year:) For this year I think we are now going to stay in the states. Now the question is still where. I suggested a cruise since everyone wants to not spend a lot but they said no because of the newest outbreak of some virus or food poisoning that people got on this one cruise ship. If I can get a good package deal together for a Cruise I will present it to them and see if I can convince them.. If we stay in the US I started looking at the Key West, Miami FL, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. Anyone been to those places?

You could always come to Aussie, but I am sure that it will cost more than a $1000 plus cocktails. Also between the 7th and 12th doesn't give you any time to enjoy :D .

Maybe next year :D

I'm a true blue fan of Disney:mickey: but not everyone likes it. San Diego is nice, so is San Franciso. Hawaiian cruise was great last summer. Or just go to one island, lay on the beach with your :martini: :martini: :martini: and just relax. The Mall of America in MN is nice too. And the best for last is good old Las Vegas. I don't gamble, but I love to see the shows, there's Hoover Dam and you can take a day trip to the Grand Canyon. That was just beautiful. Whatever you pick, just lay back and relax.
