Thanks, they are little cuties. The female is just beautiful. She has the big eyes and straight hair. I know very little about showing. So to me they are pet quality. They will be up for sale. It is very hard to let them go. My kids and I get way to attached. It is an emotional mess when they leave. But I have been very lucky. All the new parents have been wonderful.

Depends on how they are doing. Most have gone around 10 weeks. But these may be later. They just got their teeth in. I like to have them on their way to potty training before they leave.

In Australia where I am it is the norm to send Maltese babies home at 10 weeks some, if they are doing well go home at 8 weeks. And this is from our top breeders.:)

The breeder I am maybe getting a Malt from sends them home at 10 weeks though "if" I get a Maltese it wont leave till 12 weeks old to make sure it is able to cope with the plane ride. It will have a long plane ride to get to me.

Bren, good luck in finding your new baby, I'm excited for you. Everyday I think about getting another one, but I look around my place and it just won't accomodate another one.:( Maybe if I move to a bigger place. I'll have to work on Carlos:wink:

Thank you for the complements. My female has the sweet face but her hair is a little wavy. My male does have nice hair. He has big eyes too. I had to take one of the puppies to the vet this morning. They think he has a respitory infection. They have him on IV right now. I am suppose to call at noon. They think he will be able to come home then. This morning was scary. He was weak and had eye boogies. But still giving kisses. I was so scared, I didn't think to ask how the puppy got this. I will ask when I call at noon. I wonder if it is like a chest cold. The other babies are doing great.

He is doing great! I could of went and picked him up at noon. But I decided to leave him with the vet for awhile longer. I will leave work early. He will have to take antibiotics and nutrical for a few days. But the Vet said he will be fine.

And the other pups can't catch it? Poor wee baby, it's good that he's going to be fine.........thank goodness for vets!!!! The vet say how he could have possibly caught it?

He said it could be contagious. Just to keep an eye on the others. He didn't seem to think it would be a problem. I will keep this little guy away from the others anyways. The others want to play and he is just not up to it.

Sorry, I have not posted. I have been really busy at my job. My little guy passed on Tuesday at 6:30pm. He was at home with the vet when it happened. At least he was not alone. I just can not believe he died. You think at 8 weeks old, you are pass the scary parts.

I am so sorry about the loss of your puppy. You did everything you could. At least he was not alone when it happened. Now he is healthy and running around up in puppy heaven. He will be waiting for you at 'The Rainbow Bridge'.
