This guy contacted me last week regarding an ad I posted on craigslist for our basement that we are renting out. He was supposed to come last night at 7. We got home and straightened the whole house up the best we could with boxes everywhere and waited... and waited... and waited some more. He never showed up! So, I decided to send him and email and ask what happened and if he was still interested. He replied back and said he had already found a place! Soooo that means he couldn't contact me and say he found a place BEFORE his appointment with us?! I mean, really?! It's called consideration! I had places I needed to go last night, but noooooo I had to wait for him... GRRR I am not happy! :mad:

My daughter rents out a room at her house also and she goes through the same thing. It is very frustrating and sadly there is nothing you can do. Hopefully you will find someone that will be perfect for you guys.

What an inconsiderate BUM to not have called you or emailed you! Guess there are a lot out there like that. I do hope you find a "good" person to rent to.........after all he will sort of be your neighbor!:wink5:

Well, the good news is I got a call from a younger engaged couple that want to see the place. They sounded like they were in their mid to late 20's which would be better for us than this guy cause he was a CEO of an IT company and from his picture he looked to be more than 2x our age.
