Walk Through Gate

I've been looking for a walk-through gate for a few months now. Now that its beginning to be colder I'm in more of a rush to get one so I can leave M inside but not have to take the gates up and down everyday (its ruining our walls)

I tried my Walmart and they don't have any.. nor Target. I don't mind ordering online but shipping is usually outrageous and I'd rather just go get it. I'm not sure where else to look.. If you all could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.. There's one on Petedge I like but their shipping kills me I may resort to that though

Did you check WalMart online? You can have anything shipped to your local store free of charge.;)
I would really like to have one too for a certain doorway in our house. I used to just climb over the gates but it's getting a bit dangerous... LOL.

Yeah its such a hassle for us to take the gate up and down, up and down! But we have to take them down so M can get to the water in the kitchen but have to put it up when we leave so she doesn't pee on the carpet.. Jake just jumps the gates lol

I was just looking on their site and saw a nice wooden one... I don't think any of them say how far the spacing is between spindles.... I'm afraid Brea would be able to squeeze through it or even get stuck. :( I wonder how a person could find that out?

I have one but one side has to be put in the wall/door frame with screws but it opens and closes fine. This is the one that I have.

I had to be careful what kind of gate I bought because Posh is a climber!

The only bad thing about it is that I am wiping nose prints off of it all the time:D

THAT is very nice looking.

I will ask a friend of mine, I was at her home yesterday and she had two up. They have an Old English Sheepdog Rescue, and oh my goodness they had nine sheepies there. I fell in love with one of them, Brut, is his name and he had the most soulful eyes that just melted my heart. I wish I could have him.

ANYWAY, I will ask them where they got the gates they have, they were very nice.

OH inside for sure. Outside is for play and potty. At any one time they can have up to 11... and today they are down to 7.

Here is the email I got back from her:

"Our Board Member in Melborne got them at Wal-Mart. They are great, but you have to remember to step up or you go flat on your face!!!!!"

You think there is something out there that could stop Jolie? :lol2::lol2: Naw, it does look like a little one wouldn't be able to climb it. Jolie would chew on it though...:( When she would be in a kennel or ex-pen, she would chew on the bars whether plastic or metal.:mad:

i lovee the walmart gate. but i dont think it will work with steps? Does anyone recommend any gates that are like the walk throu for steps? Deuci keeps climbing over the one we have its driving me nuts

Actually the gate I got is made for the tops of stairs. It pressure mounts to the wall it pretty cool. I'm bummed though I just picked mine up and now I have to return it. Its to small for the doorway in my hall and when I add the extension piece its to big :( I'm so sad cause I love this gate... oh well

thanks i really need a new gate. deuci keeps climbing the one we have and leaping into the steps!
