Who has a mini buster cube and who likes it and who would like to get one?:D

My dogs love it... they don't get too many treats, but dogs that eat kibble can have their dinner put in the cube and work to get it out. It's supposed to be really good for them... stimulates their brain and gets them to work for their food.

Of course you can put treats in it too. Another plus is that you can adjust the opening size and it washes very easily.

So... now you can answer my questions... please.:)

I've never seen a buster cube but M has a ball like what your describing. Its a big orange ball with lots of holes but only one hole that actually is open. and you put the food in there and she pushes it around til food falls out lol

I don't have one and would love one. (I mean Posh would love one!)

It would help her slow down when she eats!

"How to Use a Buster Cube

Start the dog playing or eating by rolling the cube across the floor. The dog will use its nose to move the cube and gradually learn how to empty it, or in other words, the dog is rewarded with food or treats the more it plays with the cube. It is of course important to consider the extra nutritional energy intake provided through the cube. Therefore the daily amount of food must be kept at a level corresponding to the dog's needs in order to avoid obesity. As the dog gets more experienced and empties the cube faster, it is possible to increase the level of difficulty and thus maintain the value of the cube. This is done by turning the cylinder towards maximum or minimum respectively in order to adjust the speed at which the food is released during play

A Few Helpful Hints

Be careful not to pinch your fingers when turning the tube! For filling and easy cleaning the central cylinder can be removed. Put your finger into the hole of the cylinder and turn towards MAX. Turn anticlockwise again until you hear a sound. Now it is possible to extract the cylinder. When replacing the cylinder please note that the tabs on the cylinder are three different sizes and should be placed into the three slots of corresponding sizes in the opening of the cube. Turn the cylinder clockwise towards MIN. When you hear the click sound, then the cylinder is back in place and will turn only between MIN. and MAX.
Put the dry food into the Buster Cube through the opening.
Turn cube to distribute the food into the various compartments inside.
Turn the central cylinder in the Buster Cube to adjust the level of difficulty."

The Buster Cube is also diswasher safe, for those of you who use dishwashers.

The prices can vary a bit... so you might want to shop around.. but if you want one and you are it the GE...DON'T go buying one until the GE is over!! :lol2: There are two sizes... the mini for dogs under 20 pounds and the large for, well, larger dogs. :)

My dogs love them. Kaya is the neurotic one who will not quit as long as there is one teeny, tiny speck of treat left in there. She does the rolling and pushing of it and the other dogs follow behind eating what she gets out. LOL.

Goodness no... it's not complicated at ALL. I mean, I use it!! That should tell you something. :lol2::lol2: (well, I mean I personally don't use it... I prepare it for my dogs to use. :))

Okay, not to sound silly... but I have to ask.

Remember a while back when there was a story about a dog that had something like that and got it's tongue stuck? Didn't they say something like if the toy had a opening the dog wouldn't have gotten it's tongue stuck?

Could this be a little dangerous?

I could be completely wrong.

Okay... just kinda worried me for a minute. I'd hate for anyone's babies to get hurt.

I was thinking the same thing when I first started reading Teri's thread. Looks interesting. Jack would probably throw the darn thing across the room like a dodge ball and hit me with it:lol2:
