We had a Pile UP!!!!!!!

Well, I was gone off and on the other day from the house with several errands and checked back to potty the dogs and I was a bad mommy!!

I let the water bottle run out of water so when I came home from the last run, Brandy took me right to the water bottle and started barking. I got the point and filled it up.........and then we had the pile up!! A line for water was formed! Cracked me up!!:lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2:

I must admit they all stood in line patiently waiting on each other and made me proud.

I actually have two bottles. When one goes empty, it gets throw into the dishwasher and the other one used for sanitary reasons. Since this is the first time it's happened, I don't think it will become a "big" problem. I usually check it every morning and every night........I was just super busy that day. But thanks for the offer but no thanks!:tounge:

Actually the hubby made it for me with pc pipe and a flange from the plumbing department of Home Depot. Then he cut out the slit with some tool he has and that was it. So it is simple to make and CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!!

What a cute pic of all your babies! Since I'm new to Maltese world I love seeing their full body shots, most of the pics I see are faces only. I'm still always comparing breeds trying to figure out if my Morkie Meika is looking more Maltese or Yorkie.

Gee, the water bottle would solve my problem of Meika wading in the water bowl. Good idea.

The pcp pipe is big enough for the water bottle to fit down in side and the back of the water bottle sits up against the back of the pcp pipe. The neck of the water bottle sits on the bottom of the slit he made so it has double support and is so easy to put in and out of the stand. I really need to paint it though and mabe put their names on it or something decorative. Any suggestions???

The whole wet face of four furries is what let me to think about the water bottle. NO more wet faces and no more drips all over the floor! It's wonderful!

Probably.............I really did feel bad for them..........taught me lesson. I now am paranoid and check the water bottle before I ever leave the house. I'm glad they don't hold it against me for making one little mistake.:o:o

We made the base last night. I couldnt wait! Thanks carol for the information I was looking into this but it was so expensive. I might have some pvc pipe left I'm making 3. But its so cool. I asked peter if he can paint it he :fainted: almost fainted LOL. But we will have the final product tomorrow. Thanks again!!!

Jadey I want to see pics. I might have to have hubby make one of these for all my furkids. I like to put ice cubes in their water bowl (yes, they are spoiled) and LuLu bobs for cubes and soaks her whole head.

I have a running water fountain thingy and I HATE it. It is too much work to clean every week and the filters are so expensive and LuLu refuses to drink out of it. I had to start putting bowls of water around the house and then I noticed the cats were drinking out of it too! So I pulled up the fountain and just have the bowls out.
