Lizzie Rose is getting a brother !

Well we decided to get Lizzie a playmate and he is arriving on Friday !
He is 5 1/2 months old ....and going to be around 5 1/2 pounds when he
is full grown. The Breeder had him neutered yesterday and had a few baby teeth removed at the same time.The Vet got on the phone with me and ran through everything...he is a happy healthy little boy.Everything seems
to be going well and he should be here on friday !

Actually they met last sunday, the breeder brought up 2 males for us to choose from. We were originally looking for a 1 year old but these guys were almost 6 months......close enough for me.

We are not sure if he will keep Cody as a name right now, my Megan
does like it but may want to go with Ollie or Oliver.
She is still thinking about it, I dont have a say in this one :)

We are hoping that Cody will bond with my Megan and Lizzie !
Seems that Lizzie really has bonded with me....and I cant understand that:lol2:

My wife says I spoil her rotten and Im not allowed to do the same to Cody!

We shall see if I can hold back ! Yep one more day !

Well Codie is here ! We had an interesting night but it was worth it !
The woman we got him from twisted her knee and couldnt drive so we went
down to get him instead.After the Horrific traffic on the way back Codie
made it almost to the house and got sick.After a quick bath and some food
he is resting on Megan watching tv right now.
I will get some pictures in the morning........
He needs some serious grooming....he has some stains on his face and ears !
Unless someone has any ideas I would guess it will have to grow out.
Poor little guy needs some TLC but he is getting it from Meg.

Lizzie seems OK with him, she has come up on the couch a few times to give him a smell !
And he is just all eyes on her watching her crazy antics !!!

Has he lost all of his baby teeth yet????? As far as the stains on the ears, you could do the MOM treatment and probably clear them up in one treatment! Some are not keen on that but I have found if used properly and carefully it does wonders to remove stains without antibiotics.

Well all three of my maltese came with stains......if you do a search on the site for tear stains you will find the mixture and information.

Awwwwwww, so glad things went so well for his first night! I am sure Lizz is "letting" the new kid on the block steal her things or she would be putting him in his place. How sweet she is allowing him to use her things too. I am sure in no time they will be best of buds.

What time did Codie get up this morning???? I bet he gave Megan lots of puppy kisses when she took him out of his crate!!!

Well Codie and Lizzie are doing well, just have some sharing issues from time to time but not Bad.
Codie is learning to Pee and Poop outside and not really minding the cold weather....Although he doesnt like RAIN !

He is a good eater and Sleeper, cant believe it on the weekend he slept until 8am in his crate. Weekdays its more like 6 when megan gets up.
