While I , I mean Abbie was shopping for her SB this weekend, I realised I forgot to say something in our profile. Mom is allergic to lavendar and it is in some grooming products.

Also, Miss Abbie gained a pound in the last month, bringing her to 4 lbs. I hope this trend doesn't continue. :lol2::lol2:
The funny thing with two dogs and bowl trading, I was worried she wasn't eating enough.

I am grooming product fiend and most things don't bother me...just lavendar.

I figure the rest of my allergies aren't in products (dust, cats, feathers, ragweed)...at least I hope not:D:lol2::lol2:

My big thing is perfumed scents. I can't use any type of perfume or strong smelling lotions. Strong scented candles are a no-no. Light scented ones are ok but I don't light them. The strong scented pine cones that are common at holidays just about kill me. I can't go into stores like Bath n' Body because I get so sick....like immediately.
Dryer sheets are horrible. I use the dryer balls instead of the sheets. They are working great but are a little noisy.

I love and miss Bath and Body works!!! Marco can't stand Apple Cinamon scented anything (esp those pine cones) and Vanilla. Overly sweet stuff doesn't fly around here...I love the clean smelling things and at BnBW, I love the fruit and water fragrances rather than the flowers.

Some dryer sheets are pretty strong.

My husband is the same way. He cannot go inside Bath and Body works, or even walk down the detergent aisle at a store without his eyes watering and him sneezing and coughing. His mother is even worse, and says that you should be able to opt out of "perfume samples" in magazines
you subscribe to :p

I have no problems with Lavendar....vanilla is one that I CAN NOT handle. It will give me migraines quicker than anything. Most of the fruity ones makes me nauseous too. I also don't like perfume...I can do body splash type stuff but not perfume.

My favorites are floral and fresh scents. And Maggie had them so I had to buy some for myself. :D

I don't like vanilla either. I like stuff like gardenia and lily of the valley and stuff like that. Flowers that aren't real heavy scented. Need any more info?:lol2::lol2::lol2:

I ADORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE Vanilla and always have. As a young teen the spray I used smelled like vanilla and my Mom made a comment to me I can so clearly recall to this day. "For the life of me, I do not understand why you want to walk around smelling like a cookie." :lol2: OH brother, Mother, don't you know the fastest way to a male's heart? :lol2:

I also enjoy lavendar and cinnamon highly. I can handle LIGHT pine. I LOVE this time of year.... so very much!

Sorry for the ones that have such awful allergies to all the wonderful smells.

enJOY!

I am with you! Vanilla is my favorite scent! I also like tropical scents with coconut and pineapple.

hehe.. I have to disagree on that.

:p:p Well, the gardenia scented candles that I have had, have not been really strong smelling. Maybe it's just the flower itself that can be so strong?
I just got done with a Soho candle from Kohl's and the scent was Bamboo.... it was actually pretty nice.
