I haven't seen anything on the news lately about your wildfires. Are they still burning or have they managed to get them under control?

Hi Cheryl, haven't seen you on here lately. ;)

How is all your snow?

The fires down here have been pushed off the headlines as we worry about the shortage of water.

They are still burning, but the parameters are under control. Weird isn't it how now we accept the fires.

With having a week of cooler weather they have done a lot of back burning. Though there isn't much left to burn around my parts.

Today our worry is gale force winds that are bringing down trees that have weakened because of the drought.

it is so windy Scrappy refuses to go outside.

If its not one thing it is another.

Did you hear about the Global warning conference that was held in Geneva last month where it was deduced that these Global changes we are all enduring are man made. Horrifying isn't it.

What an inheritance we are leaving our children and grandchildren.

Another 100 years and Australia will be a deserted island if this drought keeps up ..... That's what the experts predict. Scary thought.

:( I think all of the problems in this world are "Man Made". What has been given to us we have destroyed, I hope we change in time for our children, We are leaving our children a whole big mess to sort out:( it is sad!!

Well, I am not going to complain about my Florida weather; it has been lovely here for the last few days. Sunshine and warmth by mid-day! The only complaint is that we are under water restrictions again. We can only water one day a week and only on our designated day! Nothing like what you are going through, Bren, but still a change for us to adjust to..........and our lovely lawns in the upcoming heat. Not sure the lawns will survive the summer if we stay at once a week watering!:fainted: :fainted:
