OK guys.. my calves are killing me espcially my left one. What do you used to help ease the pain.
I think I went too much over the weekend by running 2 miles now I cant barely walk right.
I took Ibuprofen it seem to help alittle but the next morning i'm back to hurting.
I still get on the treadmill but only walk, I try to run but didnt last for 2 mins.:(
Do you think I should lay off the treadmill and rest my muscle for awhile.
Its sux.. cus im trying to fit into my winter clothes by next month, that is why I'm pushing myself. I arleady lost 10 lbs. :lol2::lol2::lol2:
I refuse to buy new clothes.. that only give me excuse to not exercise:tounge:

Aww Nat I'm sorry your sore :( in my opinion I would lay off the treadmill and strech your muscles.. Just for 2 or 3 days.. I usually take ibuprofen as well so I can't say much for the meds sorry :( I hope you feel better girlie

I agree, you need to stay off the treadmill for a few days and let that leg heal. Sounds like a muscle strain and the ibuprofen is probably the best thing you can take right now.
I'm sorry you are having so much pain............and I know once you get to losing the weight, you just don't want to stop..........but just this once, rest that leg and let it heal. Maybe do a few stretches or maybe massaging it would help too!

Try and get some Icy Hot cream and massage your legs (or wherever it hurts) thoroughly or have someone else do it. Rub some more on after it's massaged on your skin. Wrap it with an ace bandage loosely. Relax on the couch for awhile and pop in a movie. After the burning feeling goes away, use a heating pad and just rest for today. Keep popping ibuprofen or aleve. You should feel better tomorrow!

Thanks girls!
I guess I will stay off the treadmill til my muscle heel.
Since the elliptical doesnt put too much pressure I will do that for now.
Ashley, I will take that advice with the icy hot cream and message my legs before I go to bed.
I left my bottle of Iburprofen at home. I'm afraid to ask my pharmacist again, since I had been goign to her almost ever day..LOL
She got upset one time and go off on me saying this isnt a free pharmacy.

Don't forget the heating pad. That will relieve a lot of stress on your muscles too.
