I learned by ordering the best of the best and taking them apart. Then i found a lady at a local groom shop who used to make bows and she gave me several tips. I have heard of people you purchased videos.

No i havent seen their website I will have to check it out. I got most of them from dog bows.com tey where very helpful and I called my order in and their staff is very knowledgeable and nice. I love the bows they have its a very simple bow. I think the ones with the cutsy buttons and charms are cute but I personally prefer simple a elegant. My big thing is tring to have reasonable pricing. I'm a college student sturggling to get by and I know how it is. I saw all the beautiful bows and I could afford them for Prissy. This is why my goal is to make them affordable for most. I know I dont make near the profit others do. I guess they need to charge more because they have employees to pay who are making the bows. I do all my own so I can pass the savings on to the customer. Ok As many of you know from my SM post I'm way to lazy to spell check. Sorry I have finals to study for.

:) I have a bow and I have a Maltese but the two shall never meet. My Bailey puts his paws over his head, shakes his head, trys to bite the bow, and wiggles away faster than I can say "I give up." :(

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Diane

I would start with just a grooming band and make them wear it all the time. Be sure to take ti out and brush it everyday. Try to train them to lay down when you are putting on the bands. I dont know how old you baby is but some grow out of the wiggle worm phase. You may need to set him straight. after using stern nos try grabbing his chin hair looking him in the eyes and jerk his head a bit and say no. I have done several shows and people have never put a bow in their dogs hair and they are crazy. You have to be firm and let him know you mean business. then after the bow/band is in give lots of love and food. do this ALLLL the time. Some except bows easy some you have to work with.
