How was your Thanksgiving?

Hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving. We had a nice time by my dad. He lives in a retirement community. We were able to reserve one of the large party rooms and we all brought the food. There was plenty of room for all of us, easy clean up and there was a beautiful Christmas tree out in the main lobby, so I took a picture of my dad and 2 sons with him. He will be 91 in Feb. and I don't want to miss a chance to get them together.

Friday I was up at 8 am and out the door to head to my girlfriend's house. Thank goodness those days of 4 am line waiting are over for us. We had a great time, went to several malls, and I got what I needed with no problems at all. I got back home at 11:45 pm.
The rest on my list want gift cards, so they are getting gas cards and visa cards, so they can shop where ever they want.

Today, we are suppose to put up the tree (outside on the porch) and then the Christmas village. I am really getting too old to do all this stuff. My knees are aching so bad, but once it's all done I can just relax and enjoy until Christmas.

I had three Thanksgiving meals and I'm still stuffed. We also got my grandparents down here... they live 4 hours away and are both 84 years old.

thanksgiving day it was just me and my bf.
so we went out to eat at Luby's. It was ok.. just not the same like home cook.
After that we went to see movie " Transporter 3".

Yesterday we had family gathering.
cook turkey, ham and other side dishes.
we dont have big family. It just me, mom, brother, cousin and bf and of course the furkids.
after eatign me and cousin play some sport wii to burn the food off:lol2:
1 hours of playing, we went window shopping. I just want to walk around the store to burn more off..LOL
back to the house eat again, and then put up the xmas tree.

so over all..my holiday was good. I'm just happy that someone was there to help me put up my 6 ft. tree.

I would say my Thanksgiving was perfect, IF my Mom wasn't in the hospital.

Sara and Jason cooked our feast and as I sat in the game room or was in other places of the house I could hear them laughing and having fun in the kitchen and just LOVED IT! I felt so very blessed all day long.

My Thanksgiving was ok. I wasn't feeling well so I lounged all day and then went to my dads in the evening. I spent some time with my niece and then I went to Michaels Craft Store. They were open for a few hours and had something I wanted on super sale. It was a madhouse!!! I could not believe all the people there on Thanksgiving for craft supplies. I guess I am not the only crazy one:p:p
