THAT was an incredible video for two reasons. One the intellect of that dog to have the knowledge and willingness to move the dog that was injured to the side of the road. And second that not one car with a "human" inside stopped to help or at least stop traffic so that the dog could be helped. What is wrong with people today????:(:(:(

Reminds me when we had our accident on Alligator Alley (a long stretch of road in South Florida). We did not have one person stop to see if we were ok or even alive while it was obvious that we had an accident and had been turned the wrong way on the side of the road and our bumper detached laying 100 feet in front of us. Makes you wonder what the world is coming to.

I stopped one time on interstate 75 cause there was a kennel in the road and people were honking like crazy at me!! There was nothing inside thank goodness but still.. People arejust to self centered now days

UPDATE FROM PLUMIE

SANTIAGO, Chile — Chileans have a new hero: an apparently homeless dog who's gone missing.

A surveillance camera on a Santiago freeway captured images of a dog trotting past speeding cars to pull the body of another dog, mortally struck by a vehicle, away from traffic, to the median strip.

The scene was broadcast by Chilean television stations and then posted on Web sites such as YouTube.com, and hundreds of thousands of people had viewed versions of it by Monday.

Highway crews removed both the dead and live dogs from the median strip of the Vespucio Norte Highway shortly after the Dec. 4 incident, and the rescuer dog ran away.

Authorities say images of the rescue prompted some people to call and offer to adopt the dog, but neither highway workers nor a television crew could find they animal when they went to hunt for it.

I just saw that this video will be aired on our Miami ABC Station tonight on the News.

Sad that dog that hit died and the rescue dog ran away, broken hearted perhaps.

An update today in the newspaper said the police were calling off the search for the 'hero' dog. They had spent to much time searching, only hope the brave soul is safe and alive.
