Just curious at how often you clean your dog's teeth.

I've always brushed once a week with their bath. That's probably not enough though. That's why we have petzlife products now. :D

I use Apple Cider Vinegar in the water it is not only effective in changing the PH of tears but it also is helping clean the teeth. (Scrappy had one tiny yellow spot that nothing was shifting till I gave him the APC and now it is gone and his teeth are lovely and clean with absolutely no tartar and he is 3yrs old)
I also have a gel from the Vet that I use once a week as part of his grooming session.
So I guess my answer is once a week as I physically clean his teeth once a week.

I try to brush them 1 time each week but sometimes it just doesn't happen. I do add to their drinking water a product called Pet Dental by Four Paws it really helped bad breath and tarter.

Bren--I know you said on another thread about the apple cider vinegar, but how much do you put in the drinking water? Do you put it in the water every time you add to the bowl or just one time? Thanks:)

I'm interested in learning about the apple cidar vinegar as well. Where did you hear about it? So it helped Scrappy's staining? How long did it take him to get used to it? Thanks!
Anyway, I tried using the actual dog toothbrush and toothpaste when Perri was a pup, but I didn't feel it was effective bc I couldn't get to his back teeth with it. So, I use a special gel from the vet as well, and it's great. I just squeeze a drop on each side of his mouth daily and that's it!
