Jack got a bag of biscuits and a cute pink and green Christmas frog on Sunday at my family party. The frog croaked after 5 minutes with a puncture wound to the back of its neck:lol2:
On Christmas Day Jack got 2 bags of his favorite biscuits and 3 new toys.
He got a Ty reindeer, a sock monkey, and a stuffless raccoon. He loves all the toys. Not a one has begged for mercy yet, so we may make it through the night:lol2:
I was doing some cleaning in the bedroom this afternoon and Jack brought in the sock monkey. He got on the bed and plopped down right in the middle of the clean towels and put his head on the monkey and went soundly to sleep.
It was so cute.
So, Jack wants to know what all his little buddies got for Christmas!

Glory Girl and Sir Micro got Nylabones. Mr Wookie and Glory Girl got some new bows, and Sir Micro got a new toy he loves to replace the one he wore out. Mr Wookie also got a new stroller pad.
This year was a lean year for us, however we gave EVERYONE tons of love!

Posh and Diddy got too much from Santa Paws!
Tons of toys and treats, pup tents, Posh got a dress, Diddy got a Puppia Harness Vest, and they got a Panda Bed Pal car seat.
It was Posh's first Christmas so we went a bit overboard:D

Well, my work-a-holic husband (yes, he works on Christmas) actually stuck to his promise to give the dogs a day of their dreams. We both gave any or all of the 3 attention the whole day-whenever they asked for it, right away, played the game they wanted, and let them choose when to stop, as many times as they wanted. Many times, we put them off awhile-and almost always tell them when play is over. So they LOVED it. Kudos to DH
The funny thing is, this is just one more way they acted like skin kids. As soon as they understood that they were not having to beg for attention-they really relaxed more and didn't beg to play nearly as often as on a regular day. But they certainly played longer!!! Especially Cheeto-he is like the energizer bunny. Now that he has learned how to play (well, his form of play) he can go on and on. :dogwalk:
Since it was his first Christmas after coming from the mill, it was a pretty good way to help him celebrate.
BTW, my husband might work for at least a few hours on every holiday-but NOT on our anniversary-he's a workaholic-not STUPID!!!:lol2:
