Has anyone used these to fight fleas? From what I've read their small worm like bugs(?) that you place in a damp dark place in your yard and they eat fleas and flea eggs. They mulitply quickly BUT can't survive in the hot sun (which I've also heard fleas can't either) I can't find much info about them and when I do its very basic. Anyone?

I've recently started brewers yeast in the dogs food and I'd like to be able to go all natural if I can but being in GA that's going to be difficult

I have heard of them but never used them. I have not had a problem with fleas (knock on wood!)

I would be scared to death the critter would get on me. I am a bug freak. I get really freaky at the thought of one. yuk!! :lol2::lol2:

I know your pain about the fleas down here. It is from those hurricanes we had a few years back. And the only product that I have found to work is Comfortis. It is not all natural. But none of the other stuff works.

Nope, I have never heard of them, either.

Have you tried www.fleatreats.com? That is what I use. If fleas are really bad, there are also natural insect sprays you can use on your dog, too.

I use Comfortis and I swear by it. Both dogs are on it. I used to use frontline and I hated it. It has awful skin side effects too..I love Comfortis. It works so well!! I hardly ever find fleas BUT I need to COMPLETELY eliminate them to rule them our as an allergy. So I want to go as natural as I can cause all the chemicals will be awful

Is there really an area that fleas do not live? I thought they were everywhere.

A rather unique way to control fleas if it works! We have no fleas, thank goodness!!! If you give it a go and try them bugs, let us know how it works out.

We use a product called CapStar. It kills all fleas inside and out of the body in 30 minutes. It's fairly inexpensive and works really well. We had a bad flea outbreak in the summer/fall and with a couple doses of capstar and a nice carpet steam cleaning, we got rid of them all. You can get it on 1-800-pet-meds.

You know I think ima give em go when it starts to get warmer.

Ash the comfortis is JUST like capstar but lasts all month instead of killing the fleas just once. It costs the same as frontline too. We havnt had fleas in months knock on wood but summer always seems the worst. I've learned to vacuum twice a week and wash bedding on weekends which has helped IMMENSELY. The simplest things.. :)
