I'm trying to teach the boys that they can be apart from each other and still be happy, so I took Smokey for a long walk and Adam went outside to play with Chip. When I got home, they were already inside and I sat on the couch. About 5 minutes later I look over and Chip is circling in front of the sliding glass door whining. Now Chip hasn't made the connection yet with "potty" and "outside" yet, so I know that wasn't why. He wanted to go outside. When he noticed I was looking at him he stopped, turned and faced me and gave me a look like "COME ON!" When I didn't jump up, he turned back to the door and started hitting it with his paw whining. Adam told me to take him outside. I had dinner to make so Adam took him out again. About five minutes after they came back inside, Chip was at it AGAIN! I think someone loves the snow!
Oh and my walk with Smokey was GREAT. The night before everything iced over and it was like an ice skating rink on the sidewalks especially with a dog that likes to pull. It was funny watching him walk on the first patch of ice... his feet were going in all different directions. :lol2:
