Hey all,

my Florek is very calm usually, he's very nice with other ppl, but as soon as he meets a dog (bigger than him in most cases) he starts to bark like crazy. I guess it's b/c he's scared, but what can I do to make him feel more confortable with other dogs? Hope you know some suggestions. :)

Greets,
pixelgirl.

I dont know if he's scared:confused: maybe he's just brave:D

Sounds like he needs more socialising with other dogs! Training classes with other dogs may be a good idea & plenty of walks where other dog walkers frequent!

I agree with Elaine, maybe Florek needs a good obedience class. We started Jack with puppy class, now he graduates next week from the intermediate class and then in March he will start the advanced off-leash training program.
Just get him out there to socialize with other dogs as often as possible.

I just bought a DVD by Ceasar Millan who is great with "dog problems." I bought the one on aggression as Toby does fine with people but with other dogs he goes on the defensive and will attack if they do not heed his warning. If I find anything on the DVD that might be helpful to you, I will let you know.
