Foot pads - pink or black?

I am just wondering....do all the maltese puppies have pink foot pads?(I know some puppies like Yorkies have black foot pads)

I found Tuna's tiny foot pads are ALL BLACK. I always thought puppies foot pads are pink when they are young and they will turn black as they grow up. Just like Turbo, he is 1 year 8 months now. and still have tiny parts of his foot pads pink.

oh btw. Tuna is 3 lbs now, she is just 2.5 months old. she gonna b HUGE haha!

For Maltese the pad "should be" all black....yes they can start off pink but it can be a "fault" in the show ring. Mia has 2 or 3 still pink, Cody has a few more pink and I haven't checked the other two. I think they look adorable whatever color those paw pads are.:hearter:

Kallie has a mix of black and pink, Brandy is all black and Buffy's is all black. Go figure!

Tuna is a beautiful little girl!!! I love her look, she has "the face" that I so love! Thanks for sharing pictures of her with us.

Mitzys have always been all black. I never knew they could be pink..I bet its cute when their some pink and some black ;)

Ava's were all pink. Now they're kinda...marbled pink and black. So...we'll see if they turn completely or stay wonky ^^
