Here's another pic of Kona and me visiting Big Sur! I think this one is on the Kona's Chips website.
Kona is two years old and was named after the black sand beach in Kona, Hawaii. Our sweet little pom Tiki died a few months before we got Kona and so we wanted to keep the Hawaiian/Polynesian names going.
Kona was so wild when he was a baby that his mom kicked him out and he had to sleep alone in a crate at the breeders! :( His dad is a red pom (champion) and his grandfather (black) was a national champ~~but guess what? He's just our little baby! He wouldn't know what to do if he had to be in a dog show!
Dumb things that Kona does: Likes to sleep next to my head on a pillow, tries to nurse a stuffed porcupine (we're on our third one), dances on two legs.
He also gets to "score" all the Kona's Chips chicken jerky strips and treat biscuits that we accidentally drop at the warehouse! :lol2:

Well that is a lovely picture. He is sooooooo black I couldn't find his nose or eyes in the picture. I hope you don't drop too many Kona's chips on the floor, he will be a little budge!!! Love the story about the nursing on the toy porcupine. A "friend" gave my little Buffy a huge loofa cow as part of the MT Gift Exchange.......well, she has no interest in nursing but has a real "thing" for the cow and humps it every time I put in on the floor!!!:o:o:o:o
Thanks for sharing the picture and story.
