Jasper and Emme went to the groomers yesterday. First let me explain that I have NOT had time to keep up with them since school has started. Nor did it help that Emme and Missy came into heat within a week of each other so poor Jasper lived in a wet belly band for 4 weeks. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

Needless to say, we had no choice but to have Jasper shaved. Emme only had her legs that needed shaving but we went ahead and shaved her also just so she would not look funny.

Now don't laugh at my poor babies....They are now freezing here in Texas. Good thing their hair grows fast.

I told you ahead of time that I was going to have to have Jasper shaved down....guess you did not believe me. :D

It is still taking some time to get used to them both but the hard part is Jasper looks nothing like himself. I can still see Emme in her but not Jasper. Oh, the shirts that did not fit him before, some now fit. I guess that is a good thing. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

Look how tiny Jasper looks with no hair! Posh says she still thinks he is a hunk! I am about to give Posh a shave down because she gets way too matted and I brush her everyday!!! I just ordered a Madan brush so hopefully that will help some!

Jasper was so afraid Posh would not like him anymore since he lost all his hair. I didn't think he was that little until I picked him up. I did not have a choice with him but to have him shaved. I was just hoping they didn't have to shave him that far down. Next time I will cut him myself....at least when I did it he had about an inch of hair left. Now he just has fuzz and skin. But we did get all of his baby coat off now. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

You should have better luck with his coat since the puppy coat is off. We had to shave Diddy down last year and ever since we did it has been a lot better!

Little Emme... how come we didn't get to see her body??? She is so dang cute. There is nothing that could make her look bad. I love her coloring. Yes, I want to see a pic of her without clothing!!!

When I picked them up, I just cried. I did not recognize Jasper at all....Emme still looked like her but not Jas. My plan was not to have him shaved that close....but his hair was real bad. He had so much fuzz left on his bottom area and we had to get that off but couldn't without making the boy naked. But now remember Jasper has very thin hair to begin with and now that it is off, you can see how thin it really was. This should be the only time that I have to shave him this close but then again it all depends on how it grows back. He is a mix of cotton and silky coat....his butt area is a cotton and his chest is a silky.

Emme is not as closely shaved as Jasper so I will take another pic of her with her shirt on later today. And no....Jasper still can't jump but he can run fast now. :lol2::lol2::lol2:

I am sure they would but right now they are freezing....well Emme is anyway. Jasper is always hot but I have put a shirt on him at bedtime just in case he gets cold. I like him cut to about 1-1/2" in length. Emme I like a little longer.
