Does all maltese have allergies??

8 out of 10 I know, suffer with some type of allergy!
Had all the test done on my "Oliver"-he's allergic to 2 grasses, 2 kinds of weeds, hickory and sycamore trees and worst of all any fish,soybean or rice products!!! try and find food anywhere with these problems!! advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated!!!!:)

Poor baby :( , I have no experience with allergies, as to food maybe you will have to make your own.

Try this website...Look at 5 star and 4 star premium dog foods. It lists all the ingredients of each of the foods. You might be able to find a food that is suitable for your baby by just reading through all the ingredients. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/index.php/cat/1

Wow-guess Im lucky-mine arent allergic to anything.

:confused: Nemo doesn't have any. I know alot of allergies go away when the right food is found. I really don't think Maltese's have more allergies than other breeds..

Toby has no allergies, but Kallie seems to be bothered by lamb products. Natural Balance has two "allergy formula" products that I use with my kids and they are doing fine on them. One is venison with brown rice (but you said there was an allergy with that) and the other is duck and potato. But you can go to a PETCO website and go through some of the dog foods and they will list all the ingredients.

As far as the outside allergies go, not much you can do about them unless the Vet suggests allergy shots! Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

I have feed Oliver only chicken,& scrambled eggs, bout a week now. a few treats that dont contain any of the things hes allergic to and he still is scratching like crazy! Must be outside, he LOVES it out there! wish me luck. Am going to try and post a pic, but didnt work last time I tried. Once again, thanks, Judy:)
