View Full Version : One month to go till Alaska!!!!!

Only one month to go till I leave for my Alaskan cruise. We are leaving June 27th, a day before and spending the night in Seattle, WA. We set sail on Sun, June 28th and return July 5th. We get a shuttle back to the airport and then head to Viva Las Vegas till July 9th. We will be at the Paris Casino/Hotel.

My son and Jack will have the run of the house!!!

While we are gone, my b-i-l will be doing our kitchen makeover!!! New floor in kitchen & utility room. New counter top and cabinets in the kitchen. New storm doors too. Also, new windows, new ceiling fans, and gutter guards put up. We are staying here for at least another 9-10 years, until I retire and I might as well enjoy some new things. We've been here since 1979.

Then, only home for about 1 1/2 weeks and heading up to Wisc. with my sister's family to their home. The Lake is calling me and I must go:D

This is what I should have done: my brother is here doing renovations and I wish I was somewhere else!!! DUST!!

You are a smart lady to have planned it like that! And then to your sister's, that sounds great as well!

Cheryl you planned that nicely!! I can't WAIT to see your pictures!! I bet its beautiful, I know you'll have a blast.. and then to Las Vegas!?! Lucky lady!!

Have fun on your Alaska cruise and Las Vegas. We stayed at the Paris Hotel years ago. Nice rooms but we were disappointed by the food. Great to have all those renovations done when you are gone. If you intend to stay that much longer in your house it's worth doing all that work.

Sounds like you have a busy schedule planned. I know you will have a great time and your kitchen will be wonderful when complete.

Well, paint me green.... I want to wish you a SUPER time during all your travels.

However I also wish to warn you, if you do not take and share many photos, I will be so UPSET! :wink5:
