Did you know I "had" to leave to arrange some things for my skinkid for the move on Sat. and was so worried the whole time but came home and he was just fine!! He is still not himself........sort of being needy but he did eat and a normal stool! So maybe he just didn't have a good night or just not feeling good which we all have once in a while!

Well since I'e been sick my ashtma has been really bad and I had a bad attack which gave me a rash on my chest (not sure exactly why that happened) and I just couldn't stop coughing to catch my breathe, I thought I was going to pass out so I drove myself to the ER and it took them 2 hours to see me and another hour and a half to discharge me :mad:

Oh Jess, how horrible..........that is just not right to have you sit there for 2 hours. I can't imagine anything being more of an emergency that YOU!!!! But it is like that all over. The day Bob had his accident, there were so many higher emergencies, we were there for two hours before they looked at him or took x-rays and another hour to get discharged..........it is the norm for emergency rooms, I guess.

Aww, Jess - I'm sorry to hear that. My husband has asthma, and once we waited a little bit, then I went to the registration nurse, and she said if you're having an asthma attack, never ever sit down and wait - go immediately into the ER and get treated right away. They will come in later for the paperwork.

Thanks Reenie.. I know my mom has been griping at me ALL WEEK to go to the ER but I just hate going to the doctor and just waited to long to go.. I havn't been treating my asthma either which I got a good griping at for at the ER :o:o

I hope you continue to feel well and the asthma doesn't kick up again....they'll treat you as quickly as they can in the ER, and you'll feel so much better if there is a next time :)

Are you growing it out from being cut in the corners? I'm doing that, too. I know of a great product - a dog-safe hair gel to keep the top pieces up and the corners growing down (I'm using it now), if you're interested.

Nope (but they think this may help the heart stuff). I have four fibroids and they are going to be removed by a procedure called an endometrial ablation (check out this link http://www.gynalternatives.com/ablation.htm).

We were thinking I may have to have a hysterectomy, so this was actually good news. Now, I am in the testing and planning part. Marco and I have done alot of talking and this seems like the best option. It is day surgery and the recovery time is about a week. Right now, it is looking like this will be early next year.

It is not nearly as invasive as what we thought..no cutting or stitches and the recovery time is 1-2 weeks and with a hysterectomy, it would have been 3 months. So..not the best news, but better than we expected. I go back Dec.3 (with Marco this time) to talk to the doctor again.

I am making one of those "rag quilts"............I just love how they look and they are so easy to make...........just takes the time which I have. I am matching her nursery colors. When I finish it, I'll be sure to post pictures.

And Tammy, I have been a sewing for a very long time. Use to sew all my skinkids clothes and my mother's clothes and mine..........I was a sewaholic! Then with the price of patterns, I sort of slacked off. But with the specials that JoAnns runs on selling patterns for less than a dollar, I got back into it with making clothes for the dogs..........now it is for my grandbaby. The furkids have more clothes than they need! LOL
