Thought it might be nice to get to know eachother a little better.
I am a stay at home mom of 2 boys, ages 7 and 4. I used to manage a mental health office for about 8 years, after the birth of my second son I quit full time and now just contract to do medical billing on the weekends. I also sew like crazy during the week for my ebay store that I started just to keep myself busy and it has turned into a fun little business. I had always pictured myself going back to school to be an RN but now that I have my kids and dogs, I really don't want to do anything but be home with them and take care of them. I often think of learning to groom professionally and opening a grooming shop out of my home for small dogs only.

I went back to college as an adult and afterwards worked in Marketing for an International Company. However, I then met the man of my dreams and 3 1/2 years ago we got married. He is twice retired and asked me not to work. So he bought me my baby Sassy girl and now we girls are full time BRATS. Yep, certifiable spoiled brats and loving every minute of it. Life is good!

:) I am 52 and recently retired from civil service (Air Force) after spending 23 years at Eglin AFB. I retired early this past January and adopted my little fur kid Bailey Dakota from Cathy. I was a system administrator for a government computer network and also a budget analyst—but thank goodness not anymore. I received notification this week that I am eligible to teach business classes in 6th—12th grade in the school district of Okaloosa County, Florida. It will take about 1—2 years for an opening and Bailey will be older but I still plan to have a day sitter for him.
My husband still works at Eglin civil service. I have one 33 year old daughter that moved back home with us and brought her Jack Russell’s. Her husband passed away last year, and we thought it best to live with us for awhile.
I have three cats that I am profoundly allergic to but thanks to allergy meds and shots, I can live with them. We rescued them14 years ago from an Indian Mound that still has a cat colony living there. We have fed the remainder of the colony everyday for the past 17 years.
I’m vegetarian because for me personally I can’t bring myself to eat another animal. When I look into a cow’s big brown eyes, I see a mom named Bessie not food.
Bottom line, I’m a stay at home mom for fur kids for now.

I work at an answering service which is a pretty crappy job. I basically get paid to have people scream at me for 8 hours straight. I am a college grad but the job market is horrible here so I haven't been able to quit yet. But at least I have my little doggies to come home to. :)

I'm a library clerk at an elementary school. Have 3 sons (30, 28,18), 2 D-I-Laws and 6 grandkids. I have a maltese and a yorkie. My 30 year old son and his wife live in the same town and I get to see them and my 3 grandaughters often. My middle son is active Army and moves around a lot..he just spent over a year in Iraq, we hope he doesn't have to go back. I still have my 18 year old son at home and he's a typical teen.. whos drives me nuts at times LOL
