Louie's first cold :(

Louie had been making a coughing/choking noise for the last couple of days, it wasn't bothering him so we thought he must have some hair or something he needed to bring up. He went to the vets this morning and it turns out he has a chill (it's winter in Australia at the moment). He's got some meds to take twice a day for 5 days and they should clear things up, we just have to keep him warm and dry, he's got a lucky escape from his bath for abit :p
On the bright side the vet said Louies general health was great and he weighs in at 3.3 kilos. He turned 1 on the 5th so I think we did ok to avoid any health problems for 1 year atleast :p

Awwwwwwwww, poor Louie!!!! Glad that he is going to be okay! I don't know how to convert the 3.3 kilos into our weight measurements of pounds. But I'd like to know how much he weighs........:confused::confused:

You got a Sams Warehouse near you?? I think you might. They sell some great warm coats. There are one where you put their front legs through the arm holes and the coat wraps around the body and zips up the back, it is excellent and they are only $8.99 each.
If you don't have a warehouse near you I can check mine out and see if they have any left for you if you like. I can take a pic of Max's if you want and post for ya, just let me know.

Thanks Bek, Mum actually picked up a knitted jumper for him, not sure where it was from. It even has a turtle neck :lol2:

Today's his last day of meds, he seems to be back to his normal self. He hasn't even made the coughing noise for a few days now so fingers crossed.
