Has anyone tried the recipes from the book "Dog Food Secrets"? My little 6 month old Bella is not eating much at all, I have to sit down and beg her to eat and she will eat out of my hand, I wondered if it is because her permanent teeth are coming in, I can see her top front teeth coming in beside her baby teeth, she is going to the vet this coming Friday on March 9th to get spayed and I will have the vet to check to see if they need to take her baby teeth out while she is asleep. Also, does anyone know anything about the iso-gas that they use to put puppies asleep for surgery?? Someone suggested to me that I should not let them use injections to put her to sleep that it may cause liver problems..............any comments on this???? :)

Thanks so much,
Bec Bec

No I haven't made anything out of that book, I would crush Sammy's dry food and add a teaspoon of baby chicken food to it and she would gobble it down, maybe try that.
Also as they grow they don't always eat as much as we think they should, they have there bursts. I wouldn't be overly concerned.
I can't help with the iso-gas question as I have no Idea, my babies had an injection and are fine.
I just wanted to send hugs and kisses to your baby girl for her big operation :smlove2: .
All the best
