Proud Mummy ( not about David)

You all hear so much about David, that I thought I would share some news about my eldest son Stratton.

Stratton had his FIRST soccer game yesterday ( first time joining soccer, he loves it) and he loved it. His team WON 2-1. I was so proud of him, he is really good.

I had to share, I was so proud watching him run around kicking the ball of the other team. Such a proud mummy ( father was yelling, he was so darn proud)

YEAAA~~ For Stratton!!
My boys have been in Soccer since they were 4 and 5, they are now 15 and almost 13:( the years just flew... My middle son Nick may go to Rome this summer to play for the Italian team, he is really a great player..I know how you feel it's such a proud feeling.. Congrats to Stratton , I hope he goes far in Soccer...:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

That is so cool. We are HUGE soccer fans here. Hard not to be proud when you see your kids not only doing something but doing it well.... Sport is so good for co-ordination, concentration and team work .... all kids should play a sport.





Andrea that is.... WoW, WoW, WoW I am impressed I hope that comes true for your son:D

We are Manchester United (hubby's place of origin) fans but when the World Cup is on it is go Aussie :)

Wow Andrea, that is great news. Stratton is 10yrs old 11yrs in December. This is his first year at soccer, he has been wanting to do it for a couple of years now, but since it costs so much money I wanted to make sure he really wanted to do it and that it wasn't a faze he was going through like Scouts was :D .

It is really good for them~ my boys are really lean but so strong. They have them "AB PACKS". It is really good for their body. You don't notice it right away now I see as my 13 year old is getting bigger his body is just like a powerhouse:D Stratton will have a ball and love his team-mates. The team are more like brothers than team-mates, they stick together like glue, this all takes time of course. Im really proud of Nick it has been 9 years and finally his hard work is paying off. He is sought after by alot of teams . A team that is very well known in NY has asked him to go to Italy, the coach saw him play by accident and loved him, he has excellent timing and way above his age, skill. He is a universal player meaning he can play defense, forward, mid field or goalie:D I know Im bragging , but Im really proud of him and he's a great kid ~ he has a wonderful personality..Im a thread killer, sorry Bek.. Im just so proud of him:cry2: :cry2:

"Hanging head in shame", We had to get up at 6am, get ready and be at the game by 8am ( 30min drive there) in all the fuss and being half asleep, I forgot my camera, I was so upset:( , I will definatly have it in my handbag the night before his next game and will post you pics.
