I found this forum a few days ago, but don't like posting to forums without being set up. So, I had to get my avatar, signature, profile, etc. all in order before I could say anything! I guess it's a computer geek thing. Of course, life likes to interrupt online time. :)
The reason I came to this forum is to hopefully learn information about our new addition to the family. She's positively adorable and I'm completely in love with her, but she's got a few weird quirks and traits that I don't quite know how to handle. To avoid being completely repetitive I won't mention anything here, just saying hello. :D
Glad to have found a place to get some answers and suggestions. Hope you're all wonderful today!

Hello Elizabeth. :) My Maltese is a girl too. She's 3mos, 3wks old now. Her name's Mollie and she has two feline siblings. Our oldest (sister) is named Zoe too and she turned 2yrs in March. Our middle child is Zeus, he's 3mos younger than Zoe and he was not happy about having a new addition to the family.
When Mollie first came home he was scared of her and wouldn't come near her. Now he sits nearly on top of her to push her aside so he can love on me. He's the biggest animal in the house and the biggest baby too! We love them all though. They're our babies. :2hearts2:
I'm excited about finding this place. I've already been browsing some of the shops owned by members of this forum. I think it's awesome that they give discounts for forum participants. Definitely makes pampering my baby all that much easier on my wallet. :D
Thanks for greeting me too! Didn't mean to start rambling, but I'll assume that tends to happen when anyone here starts talking about their babies.
:thankyou:

Hey, we can all ramble about our furkids..trust me. :wink5: So you have a Zoe too? I love that name. My Zoe was not thrilled when we got Abbie either, but they are very close now (as long as Abbie knows that Zoe is momma's girl).
I was very excited when I found this place too. Zo zo was 5 months old when I came and I have learned so much about training, grooming, health..you name it. And I have made some amazing, incredible, generous and loving people here. I am sure you are gonna love it.

:welcome: Hello and welcome to MT! Yes, I can go into quite a ramble when it comes to talking about my Gracie and her little quirks! ;) Gracie just turned 1 yr old but I've just had her 2 months - she is my first Maltese and quite the pampered one in this empty-nesters' home!

~~HI AND WELCOME TO MALTESE TALK~~
I'm so glad you joined the forum and thanks for introducing yourself. Glad to have your furry family of Mollie, Zoe and Zeus on board. And we have some of the "best" ramblers you'ver ever seen right here on this forum!! It's a great group of people that are owned by the wonderful maltese breeds and some with mixes and some that own other breeds............but we love all dogs. I have three female maltese, Kallie, Brandy and Buffy and then a little yorkie boy names Toby. They keep me busy but have made my life so complete. Of course it helps when the hubby is in love with the maltese breed........guess that is how we ended up with three of them.
Again welcome and enjoy!!!!18012

WELCOME... MalteseTALK is a place to "ramble" on and on. :wink5:
In our household we have one very bossy cat, Paprika. All our dogs, three Maltese, know that "Pappy" is the boss.:tounge: Cats just seem to have this need to rule, to me.
Our Malts, Sir Micro, my daughter's dog, was our first. Then we have Mr Wookie and Glory Girl, mine. I can't ever imagine my life without a Maltese in it.
They are just so special.
Hope you are able to find all the answers you seek here.
enJOY!
