Who here gives these treats to their Malts?
Bully sticks are not available where I am but I have given Roo sticks (the Aussie version of the Bully stick) to Scrappy who just loved them.
But, once I found out which part of the Roo they are from (and it is the same part the bully stick comes from) and cleaned his stinking breath till it stunk no more I have never fed him another....
Why is that something that is so gross is so addictive to our dogs?

Ok what part are they from  . I have given my babies Pigs Ears, I give raw chicken necks ( supervised of course) , raw chicken wings ( supervised of course) and bones.
I give one serve per week and usually bath days so I can bath and brush there teeth after.
I haven't seen roo sticks

This is where I got the Roo Sticks from Its a dog shop (http://www.itsadogshop.com/category187_1.htm) if you are tempted to get the kids some... be warned they reek :fainted:
Bully sticks and Roo sticks are ummmm made from the "manly" bits of the animal:fainted:
I have to admit Scrappy has not enjoyed a treat as much as he relished this one....... Just I cannot stand the thought of what it is and the smell :fainted: Oh, the smell of his breath was just awful :fainted:
Scrappy has not had a pigs ear either......

Roo sticks are the same as Bully sticks.......from the same part of the beast :fainted:
I should look and see if they have export ones and end some to you all so you too can share the pleasure :fainted:

I won't give bullies either, too gross. I buy beef ligaments. They floss and clean the teeth so well.

Well, I picked them up for one :fainted: That was before I found out what part of the Kangaroo it was made from.:fainted:
Looks like there are no takers on getting some Roo sticks sent to them :D
So nobody on MT gives Bully sticks to their Malts

I've heard that they really like them, but no, I could never give that to my precious baby! Just toooo gross LOL!
I have given my Bella Steer Stix and she loves them more than anything. I think they really stink and are nasty :p but I just let her chew for a little while since she has been teething, supervised by me, of course, and when I think she has had enough and take it from her she gets mad and chases me..LOL.

I can picture that lol
They are addictive to them that is for sure and if you put aside what they are made from they would be a good chew for a teething puppy...... in little doses lol
