SentryPro XFC at your local Petsmart store.. ITS POISON..:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I applied Sentry Pro XFC on my doggies Rocky and Billy Bob with then 24hrs Billy Bob was whimpering acting very nervous, panting heavily, shaking his skin was bright red and he was losing his fur from all the chewing ..
Any time he tried to sleep, he would jump up, as if he was if was being shocked. He couldn’t sit still. Just ran all over our house, rubbing on the furniture and carpet non-stop.
I called the 800 hotline # .They said to wash Him again with dishwashing liquid such as Dawn then to apply Vit E oil on his skin every hour for 4 hours to sooth his skin. Ha! this did the opposite it made it worse .. I only bathed Billy Bob 3 times I called the Vet No help there .. that's a whole diff. story I am too upset to even start talking about what I was told to do first before I can bring Billy Bob in..
I just felt so hopeless I started to cry watching Billy Bob my lil happy puppy turn into a nervous aggressive puppy ... at this point I was completely freaking out ... I finally called animal poison control $60.00 later thank god for for Apc when your local vet can't help..
I got Billy Bob to finally relax a little bit I gave him some water and applied hydrocortisone cream ... Rocky seem to be ok is skin was bright red where the chemical was applied I gave him a bath and applied hydrocortisone cream on his skin thank God he had a mild reaction compare to Billy Bob..
it was so SCARY and Awful experience … I don’t wish this upon any pet lover
I am here at work feeling guilty leaving them home alone When I left this morning Rocky and Billy Bob were happy eating and playing ..
I think I am going to have to leave early if I can .. I can't stop thinking about them right now.. :(:(:(

Awwww, Trish, so sorry to hear about the bad reaction...........I had a similar experience with a topical flea/tick treatment with
Brandy and Kallie...........didn't seem to bother Toby at all.
   I just checked my box and it is the EXACT SAME STUFF YOU ARE REPORTING ON!!!
I thought they were just overly sensitive and Toby wasn't. But Brandy had a reaction within 30 minutes of application and Kallie took almost two hours before her skin was ruby red and she was scratching at the area of application. I immediately washed both girls as soon as they each had the reaction and the area stayed red for a couple of days.:(:(
And get this!!!!! I only used one tube, splitting it between the three dogs.  Thank goodness I did not use a whole tube on each!
I guess I should have written a reveiw to the reaction my girls had and you could have avoided the whole thing with yours. I'm so sorry!:(:( Just goes to show how one person's experience being shared on a forum can help others. I will certainly be more diligent in reporting and reviewing products that I use, good or bad!
Thanks so much for the post as I am sure others will be greatly benefited from the information.

I will stick my two cents in here about Bio Spot.
Brea had a horrible reaction too. A big patch of her hair fell out and she got scabs and icky looking stuff. I did take her to the vet and they told me to bathe her and gave me some kind of ointment to put on her. They had to cut off more of her hair to expose all the scabbing to be able to put the ointment on..
She was due for her hip surgery and they wouldn't do it till she was over the Bio Spot episode. It was not fun at all.
I called Bio Spot to report it and it was like they hardly cared. I had like 3 packages left at home of the junk and I threw it all away.

I hope they are ok..........mine happened on a Sunday and Hubby was here with me and we quickly washed it off but as I said the skin stayed red for a few days even with the washing!:(:(
Please let us know how your babies are doing when you get home!
Yep, I kept the stuff thinking that maybe someone else could use it that has dogs but after hearing your experience, it went promptly in the GARBAGE!!!
I wonder if the company is offering any refunds when the dogs have a bad reaction???? Guess it is something I should look into cause that stuff was not cheap!!!:mad:

I think I mislead you by what I posted. It didn't happen this past Sunday but about a month ago ON a Sunday. They recovered fine and like I said the area stayed red for a few days but they acted fine and ate and drank normal. I do hope your babies will be ok! I am going to go get that stuff out of the garbage and see if I can get my money back, I have two complete tubes left!:mad::mad:

I am so sorry about what happened to your dogs.:( I would've taken it back to PetsMart and got my money back and told them all about it, maybe they could not sell it anymore.
What exactly does that product do you bought? Is that chemical in anything else we might buy?

OH what a nightmare! I am so sorry that this is happening.
I just do not think our small dogs can handle products that are put on the market for "any dog". I have been working with a Holistic Vet here, TRYING to get manufactures to realize they need to "down size" doses of meds a LOT for our smaller pets. Even Shots are not for "size" of pet many times. And I KNOW my dogs do not need a shot that also could be for an 80 pound dog.
WHAT is the active ingredient in this product? I sure would like to know to watch for it else where.
I am so VERY sorry this happened and hope that all the cuties have no lingering effects from this poison.

The pet store here sold it for under 10 dollars. I used it and luckily Tobey didn't have a reaction, but I won't be using it anymore. Thanks for posting this warning. :thankyou:
