View Full Version : Jinxie doesn't like taking his Angel Glow
I got some Angel Glow for his tear stains, and Jinxie doesn't like taking it. I use a medicine dropper. I was trying to give it to him the other day, and he actually started shaking.
I felt so guilty, I just stopped because of the way he was acting.
Anyone else had this problem, how do you solve it?

Is it a liquid???? Regardless, I would mix it with a little yogurt or other food he loves. I use Tylan only when needed which is twice a year and mix it in with their food but the teaspoon of canned food covers over the taste. :) How old is Jinxie?

Mmm :( Poor Jinxie. I don't give mine anything like that anymore because of that same problem. I started giving Angle Eyes a few months back and stopped becuase she wouldn't eat anything that it was mixed with. So I bought some Spa Lavish facial scrub to help lighten the stains and so far I like it alot.
If Jinxie is still a puppy the Angel Glow may not help him anyways if he is teething.. You could start washing his face once a day to get all the goop off so they don't cause any staining
He's four years old. I was at Petsmart today, and bought two new, different types of dog food, to see if he'd eat any........he is so finicky!
I can't believe how finicky he is. He absolutely isn't interested in canned dog food. He won't even eat regular dry food!!! He likes this special type of dog treat....
The only thing he likes is White Castle hamburgers!!!!!! :lol2:
I do have some of that Diamond Eye stuff. Maybe I'll use that, I hardly ever use it because I was wanting to use the Angel Glow....

You can still use the Angel Glow, just have to find something he likes it in :tounge:
I would take Morkie4's advice and try it in some yogurt, maybe some veggies like green beans, in some rice, maybe some boiled chicken?? Mine would eat in yogurt but rarely ever finished it because I think she could still taste it. Do they make the Angel Glow in tablets?? That might be easier to give if they, wrap it in a peice of cheese to give to him?? Or a white castle hamburger :lol2::lol2:

Is it possible to use some kind of injecter and inject it into a peice of the hamburger that he likes. That is just a thought, I would look for the pills and see if he takes them better in a peice of cheese.

I'm almost afraid to try - he eats so little as it is, I'm afraid if I try slipping it into something he likes, he'll quit eating completely. Of course, he is a tiny little thing....but still!
