First of all I'd like to say thanks for the kind words and welcome.
Bek, just get over it and lets please get along. I agree the word teacup is not one I'm fond of but I do use it as it is what people recognize. However, I may change it to tinies.
I do breed maltese with the help of my husband and family. I grew up with maltese my entire life, they have been all i've known. We have some nice lineage, but I do not show. My family bred down the maltese over so many years to become a bit smaller. We have had no liver shunts or any kind of problems due to size. Our females are bred once a year and have the run of our 4 bedroom home with a beautiful fenced in yard. I realize there will be some people who do not approve of small pups or the word "teacup" but our dogs are happy and healthy. I had some problems with some members who are here on the MO forum due to our pricing. Our pricing is the way it is and we have no problem getting the money so please don't knock it. We work incredibly hard to make sure the pups are happy and healthy. All of my pups and dogs see a vet, have heart worm treatment and annual vaccinations. I take a lot of pride in our breeding. We never ship any of our pups, only pick up or hand delivery. I am not here to sell my pups, just to talk to other maltese lovers. I apologize if I previously offended Bek whom I made a comment about a mixed breed only because the pricing is outrageous here for non pure bred dogs.
Anyhow, hope to be friendly w/the members here. Sorry for the book and whomever I previously may have offended!
Love,
Andrea
