Kallie and Brandy love to play several times a day and this morning they were extra eager to have me video them. Of course, we had to have some background tic tic tic (I think that will be my trademark) and a guest appearance by Toby:o:o:o But of course, the squeaking is little Miss Buffy doing her thing!:p Enjoy and thanks for looking! I know it is a bit lengthy but they just wouldn't stop playing until Brandy got thirsty!:lol2::lol2:

Did Tobey direct this video? They are all so cute and seem to love palying with each other, all the more reason to have more than one!!:D

Okay the clock drives me bonkers....LOL...but I never get tired of seeing the kids play. And that Buffy in the background squeaking her toys. Too cute!! Did she not want to get in on the fun?

Well, that sure brightened my day. :) I think I giggled most of the way through the video. Such cuties you have Carol, the squeaking in the background & Mr Toby sneaking in :lol2:to try to have a little fun. So cute & funny,loved it.

Carol I LOVED when they were laying back to back and Kallie did her Paw waving! You are so very blessed to have such beautiful dolls! And we are blessed to have you share them with us.

I wish Mitzy had a little friend to play with like that :( When her and Jake play she never gets the upper hand because he is so big, even when he goes easy on her. Whether its chase or wrestling she always loses :( I think I need another little fluff ;)

I love watching them play with all that hair!! :):) Its so pretty :hearter::hearter: and keeps your carpets clean :tounge:

Your babies are so beautiful! Seeing your girls have so much fun together is one of the reasons that I wanted another Maltese. We got a new puppy a couple of weeks ago. I now have two girls..Sugar was born in February and Ginger is a show quality dog I was lucky to get.. she was born in April. Both are still babies, but Sugar is much larger than Ginger, by at least 2 pounds, maybe 2 1/2..I havn't weighed the new puppy yet.

Do you ever worry they will hurt each other? My two play almost exactly like yours, but they get each other's hair in their mouths, and they also "lock" jaws somtimes if you know what I mean. I don't let them play that much anymore, because I am afraid the smaller one will get hurt. Am i being too overprotective, and should I just let them play? I have a couple of short videos of them playing that I will try to figure out how to post, I would love your opinion. Thanks!!

Only on a rare occasion will one hurt the other and I am sure they did not intend to but I still correct them and tell them to play easy. If by chance they do get too rough, I sit down on the floor with them and play with them, trying to calm them down a bit. Also they weigh exactly the same, but are built different. Brandy is boxy, short with long legs and Kallie is long and has short legs.

As for "your" situation, I think it is normal for them to play because they are puppies and they are testing each other's strengths, maybe even trying to see who is top dog! I'd just try to keep an eye on them and when you feel their playing is getting a bit out of the "play" area, correct them, distract them with a toy or hold one for a bit. But definitely let them play together so they will bond. It took my one malt a long time to adjust and be willing to play but as you can see, with patience and understanding she came around and they play twice a day with each other like in the video. Sure messes up topkots though!:mad::mad: But hey, they are having fun!!!!

OH I almost forgot........CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW FLUFF

Thank you for the advice, I am going to try again. Whee I correct the older and larger puppy, Sugar, she will stop then a minute later go right back at it... lol. My husband says give Ginger time to "catch up" in size and it will be better too.

It makes me wish we had gotten one of Chloe's littermates for her to play with - some of our cats will run with her around the house, but another Malt. would have been a lot of fun for her.

Carol, Jack was taking a nap with daddy when he heard the squeaking toy and came running in the back room. He sat on my lap with his paws on the desk and watched his lady love and s-i-l playing. He would have loved to be right there in the middle of it, believe me.
How do you get them combed out after that!!!

Yep, it is a "house rule" that they get brushed out every day!!!! If not, they would just be a Knotted mess.:lol2::lol2::lol2: But they have such a great time playing I would never stop them just because they mess up the hair.....I would cut it before I would be that fanatical :eek: :eek: :eek:....with that said, I love them in full coats!!

How funny of Jack!!! When I play it back, Buffy is usually in my lap and as soon as she hears the squeak she perks right up and watches the screen.........so funny!!!!

I am sure that Kallie and Jack would have a great time......not sure if Brandy would be willing to share............:p :p.........they have truly become best of buds!!!!
