Rosie the poodle from the Hot Spring Co Raid in July and Rosie is now with North Central Maltese Rescue

This is the update from today

Rosie and I made the trip to the office of Dough Reichert who is making her new prosthetics. It was a fun morning and Rosie loved all the attention. We came home with the new additions. Right now she will wear them for one hour and then off for a hour etc four times today. Tomorrow we will increase the time to two hours etc.. We go back on Friday and another inch will be added on to begin getting her used to the added height while moving on these. Doug is really great with her, I have told him he needed a office dog for all the kids who come in for disabilities. I hope that Rosie will go on with a purpose in life. She needs to become a therapy dog or a dog to show the world what the horrors of puppy mills really are. I believe she has a purpose to be here, her gentle heart is amazing each and every day.

Rosie was my foster when she was in Arkansas after the raid that she was seized in from a very bad place and now she is in Wisconsin with North Central Maltese Rescue and Mary P is getting her all taken care of and doing a great job for my Rosie..they will be adding length to her legs gradually until they are the correct length...it is amazing

I can't take the credit for all the amazing things that are happening in Rosie's life right now...I only had Rosie in my home for a short time right after she was taken from that crazy woman along with the other 33 dogs...but, I did find NCMR and Mary P for Rosie and got her to Wisconsin...and now just look what great things are going on for Rosie!!!

So glad that Rosie has a wonderful spirit to get her through all that she has endured and will be having to cope with her new way of getting around. Amazing how wonderful these fluffs deal with the most horrible things and yet have such great personalities. Thanks to all those that are helping Rosie and not giving up on her!!! Including you Belinda!:hearter:
