Okay, I am going to break down and buy a couple of the CC brushes. A lot here and on YT use them and swear by them. So my question is which is better, the brass fussion or the gold series????? There are just so many brushes to choose from! I like the brushes I have now which are nice and work well and are imported from Germany.........but I just keep reading from both sites that the CC brushes make a big difference in the coats. The dogs have no problem with me grooming them, I just want what is best for their coats. Any suggestions or comments as to whether the CC brushes really make a "big" difference in the coats? And remember, both of mine are Long haired!!:D :D :D :D

Does the fushion have the relaxed cushion where the pins are held??? Do you know what I mean? The gold advertise they have that backing but the fusion doesn't so just wondering.

I use the 27 mm gold series pinbrush and the #8 buttercomb. My Yorkie's hair is long but very silky so I use the buttercomb on him almost always. I use the brush on my maltese and he has a thick cottony coat and it works well. The buttercomb is great on their faces.:D

I've thought about buying the CC comb and brush also, but just haven't gotten around to it, I forget about it. I do however have a pretty good comb and brush I bought at Petco 2 years ago and it works great. The best brush of all though, I got at the dollar store for $1.00 love it!!!:yay_jump:

:D Thats what I mean a dollar or 50 dollars same crap:yay_jump: :yay_jump:
Suggestion: Try a "Denman" brush--the small size. It's similar to a pin brush minus the ball tip heads. Cost under $10.00 at a beauty supply.

Oops, tried to fix my post there, but timed out. I hate when this happens.
Sorry!!!
Brushes/combs from Beauty Supply--The Denman brush is black/red cushion area for the white tips--no ball ends; the comb is "Cricket" rattail w/ Microban--beige in color.
Although both are plastic (a no, no) the comb does get down far enough w/n the hair to circulate natural oil; gently works out a potential mat w/o pain; and considering I'm working on a fuss budget he does look well groomed when I done. Neither when testing on your skin first will mark your skin. I do spray conditioner on both before using and on his hair in sections.
I also suggest trying Ojon Hydrating Shampoo/Conditioner (no Ph) but the hair is strengthened each bathing and so far has caused no irritation. I use the conditioner diluted for daily grooming.
Ojon is available from QVC or some beauty supplies.

Oh gosh! Don't let my husband hear about that Dollar store brush!
I already settled for a cheaper dog!:)
I use a Petsmart/Petco brush too, I don't want to spend big $ on those CC products but if they work I may!
I love to shop for my dog!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also! I read somewhere about A1systems brushes that they are good as CC.?
Andrea, I glad to know what size brushes to get, thanks for posting that. Would you but them again?
