Spring has finally sprung here in Melrose Park. The weekend has been just wonderful and I've had cabin fever for a few weeks now.
Before winter set in I usually walked up to 6 miles a day. Now that today was just great, Jack and I did our first outing. This will be a daily thing for him, at least 2 miles a day. I'll finish up my walks later at night to get my steps in.
He's almost 10 months old and I walked his little butt off!!!!!!!! :dogwalk: We did 3 miles in 1 1/2 hours. He had to sniff some things out and leave a peepee deposit a couple of times but I think he did pretty darn good.
Right now he is passed out on the couch!!:dogsm7:
Oh, and he's a really good 'moola' dog!!!!!!!!!!!! We were walking down the one street by us and he stops, turns around and he had a $20.00 bill in his mouth. It was just laying there on the sidewalk and he picks it up and gives it to his mommy!! I put it in his 'mad money' jar to save for a special toy.
How far do you guys walk your babies and how often?
