Carol you may recall I told you when you post videos I LOVE hearing the clocks ticking and chimming. They remind me of my parents' home. So in this photo, you can see in the background one clock. I took this photo the day we went to the Redskins game and just now see I did get one of the 4 clocks just upstairs. This room was the bedroom my sister and I shared and it's so much more peaceful now. :wink5:
Here is my lovely sister holding Mr Wookie. She loves him and so does her husband. So much so, they are going to look into getting a Maltese now. YEAH! They will make a great home for a Malt.

My Grandparents always had clocks. I grew up listening to them.
I miss hearing them. Sweet memories.
Your sister looks like a maltese mama already!!

Awwww, Melanie, thanks.........Bob and I love clocks! It is really amazing how quickly you get use to their gongs, chimes and tic, tic, tic!!!! Oh and I forgot we have one cuckoo clock that is going on 19 years old. My daughter bought it when they went on their honeymoon for us. That little ole' cuckoo is still doing her/his job. The other clocks have come from various trips and even one or two from flea markets. My grandfather clock was my father's and when he passed, my mother gave it to me and it works great.........antique for sure by now! :p :p
I'll have to video one that chimes 32 times at noon or midnight........what a hoot that will be.
Mr. Wookie looks great and I am sure if any fluff can charm a person into falling head over heels in love with the breed, it is HIM!!!:hearter:

I forgot to tell you, that clock in the photo is stopped... the ticking seemed so loud to me and it bothered Mr Wookie.
My parents also have a Cuckoo clock that my Step Dad picked up when he was in Germany turning his Air Force days. They also have clocks from his Mom, my Mom's Great Grandparents and her parents around the house and one clock they bought in Japan.
If I ever went to their home and didn't hear tick tock, tick tock, I would know the world had come to an end.
:lol2: THANK you all so much for your kind comments!

My theory is that you can never have too many clocks!!! I still have room for another wall clock but we will be looking for it in the coming days.........it will have to be very special! There isn't a room in the house that you can't hear a clock ticking away. But I do have to stop the clocks when we have guests..........they just can't take the ticking!!! AND the gonging and chimes.
But we love it!
