Would it be possible for us to have control over picture attachments that we post! It would be good if we could remove our pics after a certain time, I have looked in my user CP & i can view all of my picture attachments but i do not see an option to remove them from the posts!

In some instances, i.e. when i post pics of my family members i do not want then hanging about the net for an indefinate period so it would be good if we could manually remove them!

Can you help us out here, thanks!


O & another thing, could we have the Edit option back the way it was. I understand your concerns about this feature but maybe you could return it to the more established members of the forum & other new members when they have been here a while. Cheers.

I totally agree, there are so many horrible people floating around the net, I think that would be a great option.

Maybe it can be something bestowed on a member after so many posts or only to donating members.

As for the edit button I sooooo want that. It is amazing how an hour later you can see a spelling or grammar error and it is too late to fix it, so, it sits there, taunting you every time you open the thread :fainted:

sometimes i have to read members sentences a couple of times to make sense of it :tongue6: (mine included)

I, too, think that we need to be able to delete pics..........we have become a close net family here on this site as donating members and sometimes share personal pics but we have a lot of "unkown guests" and a lot of "registered lurkers" on the site.....very often!!! So we need to have our "personal family pictures" deleted as they can be saved to anyone's computer for use with anything other than proper stuff! It is a bit scarey to think they could use our pics for unsavory purposes!! :fainted: :fainted: Please help us!

We believe part of the success of MalteseTalk is our picture attachments, so that all members can see what pictures they want to click on.

If you want a "personal" picture removed, we can remove it for you. Please PM us with the picture and thread to the picture you want removed. As MalteseTalk policy, we do not remove pictures which are only of Maltese.

Alternatively, you can link to the picture which is hosted elsewhere in your post, and then delete that picture at any time.

The reason we can't allow everyone to have total control of posts and attachments is because of liability and the potential for problems. If we could allow only Donating Members to access that, we would, but unfortunately, the forum software we use does not allow that.

Yes, i pm'd mine!

go to your userCP & scroll to the bottom then click attachments! This will bring you up the list of all the pics you have posted here, now scroll to the bottom & click "show thumbnails" this will then show you the pic. Go through the pages & look for pics of kids & then email that thread to Jodi!
