Today was a mommy and Jack day. He had a special egg breakfast, a nice bath and then we headed out for the day. First we stopped at the PetsMart to get some things for the shelter. I let him sniff some toys to see if he wanted anything (early present from Santa, but he didn't pick anything out!). Then on to the shelter. His foster mommy was there and she was so happy to see Jack all grown up!! His foster mommy showed me pictures of the 13 puppies she has right now!!! One mom had 6 and the other had 7. They are all 7 weeks old and doing great. Jack played Santa there.....he brought in a big bag of old toys and some new ones we bought to give to the doggies waiting to find homes. Also had some treats and sample foods to give them. They loved his Christmas card and the PetsMart Gift card from Jack. He wants all the dogs and cats there to have a wonderful Christmas.
Our next stop was at Wet Nose Boutique for his visit with Santa. There were so many dogs there to have their picture taken...it was great. As soon as we walked in the girl behind the counter remembered him from the Maltese Gathering they had there back in Oct. Sure enough, he went right up to the display and pulled the toy he wanted. He stood there right in front of the counter looking up at her and she started laughing. Jack made an impression on everyone there. We paid for his picture, toy and one treat (to be enjoyed afterwards) and headed to the back of the store to see Santa. Everyone laughed when they saw Jack standing there with that toy in his mouth. Well, we got the picture, he had the treat and we headed home. He fell right to sleep with the toy in his bed.
***I informed the PetsMart manager about the high level of lead and low level of arsnic in the Air Kong tennis balls and she thanked me. She said she had a big meeting tomorrow with the corporate bosses and would pass the info on to them***
