The Woes of Over Breeding Dogs

So glad that this little dauchsand found a forever home. If you read the article, the dog has a fantastic personality but because of over breeding, he was fawn colored, blind and deaf. When I went to buy my Kelsey, a Miniature Australian Mix.........the breeder had a white one........I told her that I never knew they came in all white!!!! She said that is was a genetic defect and that the dog was also blind and deaf! My heart felt so bad for the pup but I had no idea about byb which today I am sure that is what she was. Had I known then what I know today, I would have never purchase Kelsey (but I loved that little dog and she never had problems until she was 12 years old and contribute some of those problems to age). Greed is an ugly charater of some breeders! :mad::mad:

So sad but so heartwarming.. Poor Rudolph spending the first years of his life like that but to end up with such a caring person.. Sigh

It is so heartwarming to know Rudy found his forever home and is making children happy also. What a blessing he is to his family now.
