Q TIP eaters!

I've been wondering about this lately. Every small dog I have ever owned loves to eat Q tips. Is it just mine or do others have this fascination as well???

I use q tips especially for putting on make up. I wonder if they like the taste of makeup?? They are always digging in the garbage for them and they will eat the tips off if I don't get them right away. My last maltese would swallow the whole stick!

I put up the garbage because I know how dangerous it could be but every now and then they will find one that has fallen on the floor or something and they chase eachother around for it! :confused:

:( Oh God Jodi I watch everything! My aunts dog (A Rottie) I mean he eats everything I mean everything Garbage,Personal things and cigarettes:( and he passes it also, but I know for some reason smaller dogs aren't like that. It can get stuck and they can get very ill or worse die:(
I also use Qtips alot and my boys take like 3 showers daily and Qtips galore (And come to think of it 6 towels a day just for them:o thats another topic, sorry) but I watch everything, My youngset is still only 6 so I am still somewhat always looking to make sure nothing is on the floor or chairs where Nemo can get it. My garbage is stainless steel and always closed when I change it I just automatically go straight out to the garbage can and dump it.
Nemo's problem is friggin "Toilet Paper":confused: why? He loves to shred it.When he is done it looks like there were 20 rolls instead of one:eek: and change..Nick drops change wherever he is everytime he empties his pockets heaps of it falls out I am always picking it up I know that can be really dangerous. I do my floors everyday and watch it all, It's really like having another baby...

My goodness, Q-tips??? Nope never had a problem with that. Toby when we first got him was very curious as to what was in the bathroom garbage and would root around in there and find something and run with it but we got that corrected very quickly and he does not bother it anymore. Even when it is full of stuff. He also had a thing with the toilet paper. He'd grab it and run, unrolling several feet of it! ROFL But we broke him of that as well! Kallie is Miss Angel..............she is soooooo good!!!!:)

yup. we have that problem too! although i dont use them for makeup just ear cleaning (yuk) but mine always seem to find one:mad:

i avoid wearing makeup now, because of the kisses i get from my furkids, i just stop wearing makeup and nail polish.
also q-tips i only use it in the upstairs bathroom...
i remeber my friends mix beagle/somthing
used to rip her used pads up and she dig in like it was cake

When my first daughter was born, I had CHi/Doxie mix. One day we came home from work and he had knocked over the diaper pail...pulled EVERY diaper...I mean EVERY ONE out nad ate EVERYTHING...I know you are gagging now...out of them. Needless to say he went back home to his grandma. We still love him though!!:D

:o I had to laugh I had read all the post about the Q-Tips last night and said to myself "You know Mia is good she doesn't go thru the garbage". That was last night...this morning she was laying on the rug in my bedroom chomping on something...when I looked she had a Q-Tip in her mouth.:( My son needs to aim better or I'm gonna have to elevate all the bathroom garbages!

I had to pull one out of Tink's butt the other day because she had swallowed it and it got stuck! YUKKKY!!! OMG I know how dangerous they are but for some reason she always finds one!!!
