:( Prices for these babies have gone way up, I know. It is worth it to me though, next time it's a reputable breeder for me.. The prices I think are the reason why good people do go to pet stores:( they can't afford it but they so want one:( so they go the pet store way and hopefully it will turn out well...I know better now:(

Andrea, I know what you mean. I didn't get LB the proper way too. I will definitely go through a breeder the next time. I was liking the way Tina's pups look, her prices are actually really good and her pups are healthy. Just looking at Cosmo and Miso sold me on her. Her transportation fee is not bad either!

$1500 isnt too out of range, but $3000, that is getting up there.

Guess we lucked out with my mom's dog Sunny, although he came from an ad in the newspaper, so far so good he is healthy

Well, I'm guilty too but didn't buy directly from the petshop but from a private individual who bought her from the petshop!!!

Bichons are beautiful babies too! I'm just saying that Nemo is not a mix. I wanted a Bichon myself at one point. I think your Sunny is beautiful!!:luv: I just adore Sunny!!!:luv:

Did I say that. Don't read things into peoples posts that aren't there. I said look at that face it reads Maltese all over, I don't know much about Bichons, but I seen a few pics and they look completely different than a Maltese.

my friend joyce has a bichon and 2 maltese...
my boyfriend couldnt really tell if the bichon was a bichon he thought it was a maltese lol
i cant tell either im dumb ^^

i cant tell whos dueci or daerong sometimes...

but i know one thing... i know who donbi is out of the pack :D

Yes, true it is. Friend has a Moxie (dauhsand(sp)and maltese). Has the body of a maltese, tail & ears but the coloring has a slight tinge of brown, cute little thing!

I love all breeds too.............well there may be a few exceptons like the hairless ones..........sorry, give me the willies!!! OF course, ALL you gals know I am a LONG HAIRED FREAK when it comes to dogs!!! The longer the better!! So "hairless" just doesn't appeal to me. Sorry if there are any "hairless" dog owners out there .................. but I'm sure they are sweet dogs!:)
