Does anyone have a sling carrier??

If so how does it work?? Does your fluff like it/stay in it ok??

I was looking at this one for some all day trips that we take, trips that I would prefer not to keep switching Mitzy's bag from shoulder to shoulder but I'm not sure how comfortable she would be in something like this.. Any thoughts??

I have one for LuLu that is the cutest thing ever. It is all blinged out. LuLu hates it but then again, she doesn't like a crate, or any kind of carrier. She just wants to be held by "humans"....LOL

However, the time I have carried her in it have been fine. I put her harness on her and then clip her in of course and once I sling the thing around me her lead head is out and she can still see and is close to me so she is okay once we are moving.

I don't have the shoulder sling I have the one that kind of looks like a backpack and it straps around your waist and under your armpits. There head is out and I also attach there harness. I prefer it then the purse carriers. JiJa LOVE's it but JiJi will not lay she looks likes if I'm trying to suffocate her so I gave up on her.

I have the Homeward Bound one that is very similar to that one.
Hate to admit I haven't used it YET, (only around the house to get him used to it) but plan to use it a lot in the coming spring/summer! Winter I tend to hibernate..
anyway, Vincent does like it, and lots easier to carry him!

I have two of these, one for Toby and one for Buffy and they work out great!!! They seem to love to ride in it but it is a bit lower than the one that Jess posted in her original post. We have front packs that go cover our chest area for the bigger girls.........we are a site when we get all loaded up. Here is a pic of Toby in his carrier.

I have Susan Lanci slings that go over one shoulder and across the body. I love the mesh because it is lightweight and cool. They run about $52 I believe. I have one that I am going to post for sale for $25, shipped. It is a light goldish/blonde color. I used it a few times, but it is still in awesome condition.

I would like the one of the picture, but i thought they were too small for an adult maltese. Do they have the safety clip that is attached to the dog harness? (i dont know how is called) is like a belt thing. Is too hot to have her in a closed carrier, so that is why i want one.

I would not put my two bigger maltese in this particular sling but they are 9+ pounds........the other two smaller fluffs are 7 1/2 pounds so they fit nice and comfy in them and love to ride on our hips! LOL

There is a safety clip inside to attach to the dog's harness as well as a belt snap that goes across the top to keep them inside......I really like this type of sling and it works great if your fluff is "standard" or smaller.

Ok good,,thanks,,,, She is only 4.5 pound (but the carriers that i have weigh 4 more and together it feels like they are dislocating my arm lol) I will see if i can get from my mom lmao and post the pictures here.

Oh my she is a tiny thing! She will have plenty of room inside the sling carrier and some to spare! i really like mine a lot! And carrying around a 7 1/2 pounder weighs plenty and does get heavy but it is only for short trips. When we are taking them for a long walk or to a store, we use the "Expedition Stroller!" They fit sooooo nicely in there! :D
